Today, Autodesk announced the AEC Excellence Awards finalists across Buildings, Construction and Infrastructure. View the announcement.

The Autodesk Civil Infrastructure team congratulates these 10 Infrastructure AEC Excellence Award finalists:

  • Shanghai ShenTong Metro Group Co. Ltd, BIM for Shanghai Rail Transit Line 17 (finalist in large infrastructure projects)
  • Ramboll Sweco ANS, InterCity Dovrebanen – Sorli-Lillehammer Trackwaya Routing (finalist in large infrastructure projects, communication and collaboration for large projects)
  • Aurecon,  Barangaroo Reserve (finalist in large infrastructure projects, communication and collaboration for large projects)
  • EllisDon Canada, VivaNext Bus Rapidway Transit System (finalist in large infrastructure projects, communication and collaboration for large projects)
  • Swedavia Airport Innovation Challenge (finalist in small infrastructure projects)
  • Water Supplies Department – Hong Kong, Water Supply Improvement: Sheung Shui and Fanling (finalist in small infrastructure projects, communication for small infrastructure projects, and energy and natural resources)
  • Furrer+Frey, ELFF on Great Western Railway Route  Modernisation (finalist in small infrastructure projects, communication for small infrastructure projects)
  • Tony Meadows Associates, Tower Hill Step Free Access Project (finalist in communication for small infrastructure projects)
  • Norconsult Vamma Hydropower Plant Project (finalist in energy and natural resources)
  • Shimizu Corporation, Greenfloat (finalist in energy and natural resources)

First introduced in 2012 to recognize BIM in Infrastructure projects, this year’s competition includes Building and Construction categories and will showcase innovative and connected BIM technology use. Categories include 1st and 2nd place for Building, Construction, and Infrastructure projects.
